zNID 280XD Series Desktop GPON PoE ONT: ZNID-GPON-2804D
The DZS 280XD series GPON ONTs are standards-based indoor ONTs designed for Enterprise and Hospitality deployments requiring secure, Ethernet-only connectivity with a compact footprint. The 2804D GPON ONTs provide customers with 4 x 10/100/1000BaseT LAN ports, all with PoE capability, allowing for convenient connections to IP phones, PTZ cameras, wireless access points, and remote switches. Configurable per-port PoE limits help direct PoE power where it is needed.
The GE LAN ports can be separated into different services allowing the configuration of dedicated ports for IP video and data for one or more business work groups or departments. Unique VLANs may be configured per user to ensure full isolation of each department’s data traffic.
With LLDP-MED support with external VoIP devices and DZS’ Dynamic VLAN classification capability based on a comprehensive set of Ethernet/IP rules, operators can expertly manage traffic on each ONT LAN port to provide optimum customer experiences.
The extended temperature operating range is also well-suited for harsher environments such as unheated but weatherproof enclosures, or mounting under a roof in areas that are not temperature controlled. The 280XD series GPON ONTs have a UL-2043 plenum rating and can be mounted above ceiling tiles or under floor tiles (plenum rating only available with remote DC powering, AC/DC power adapters that ship with the -NA, -EU, -UK models are not plenum rated), in addition to being wall-mounted or placed on a desktop.
The 280XD series GPON ONTs are powered from a nominal 48VDC source that may include battery backup, in which case four standard UPS alarms are collected by the ONT. Remote powering is also an option for the 280XD series ONTs.
Flexible management means the DZS 280XD series GPON ONTs may be provisioned using the same intuitive Web interface and CLI as the DZS 2400, 2600 and 4200 series ONTs, as well as through GPON-standard OMCI, USP (Unified Service Provisioning), the DZS Network Management System (ZMS), or using a TR-069 compliant ACS. Software upgrades and configuration backups can be handled automatically by the ZMS using the CPE Manager feature.Download or print data sheet
